All About Kings Mountain, NC

A beautiful small suburban city within the Charlotte metropolitan area, Kings Mountain is part of the Cleveland and Gaston counties in North Carolina. Most of the city is in Cleveland County and had a population of 10,296 as of the 2010 census. It was initially called White Plains, but the name was changed when it was incorporated in 1874.
